A BIT ABOUT ART VIVA OWNERS

Art Viva was born in 1995 by Jim and Louise looking for something different to do on their relocation back to Tasmania after living in Sydney for 20 years.  After 8 years of enjoying making these great funky knitting needles it was time for them to move in a different direction and so Art Viva was up for sale.
And so one Saturday morning, Mary-Jane was surfing the internet and came across the Art Viva For Sale advertisement and ran and found the swing tag from her pair of 4mm Art Viva knitting needles which had been given to her as a birthday gift some months before to confirm that this was the same product.  Mary-Jane was so smitten with her knitting needles that she convinced husband, Andrew, that they could be the new owners of Art Viva.
The rest is history, Andrew and Mary-Jane Baker, both Tasmanians, bought Art Viva in September 2013 and are enjoying building on the product range from their workshops in the beach side town of Tasmania, Australia.
Art Viva now has a permanent weekly stall, site 298, at the iconic Salamanca Market, Tasmania.

A BIT ABOUT ART VIVA PRODUCTS
